we were up at the cottage in mid July and have to say that it is absolutely brilliant and we couldn’t recommend it enough! The cottage is perfect for getting kids away from wifi, gadgets and tv for a few days at least! Other than bedding and food the cottage has pretty much everything you could need and it is brilliant value to boot. We had amazing weather so we really got to see the Glen at its very best.
The cottage has loads of classic games to choose from for your evening entertainment and if you are lucky to get the weather we did you can get out and really explore with loads of great walks on your doorstep. The Hotel just down the road has just re-opened and the food is great, wifi is free to catch up if you want and the food is lovely without being too expensive. We will definitely be back and we are already plotting our next trip later in the year when we can get some use of the fires!!
Kevin Nicoll Spent a very relaxing night here a couple of weeks ago. Arrived early evening, picked our bunk, rolled out the sleeping bag and then went to the hotel for dinner. We could have cooked something in the very well equipped kitchen, but thought we’d treat ourselves instead.
The cottage has all you need for a great few days away from it all and the fact we could take our dog was an added bonus!
This is my second visit and the work that’s been done recently, especially the installation of new windows, has given it a new lease of life and makes the amazing view even more wonderful.
Already planning another visit!
